So… it’s getting there! The cd is almost done, which feels great to say. I’m getting excited and nervous to release it and let my hard work and stories into the ears and hearts of others. I met up with Marshall from The Cab last night to work on an intro for the cd, which by the way is sounding so great. His favorite track is “Nobody”, so I thought I’d post a little clip of it in progress. Hope you enjoy.

Last night was one hell of a party. I had an amazing night with the Hey Monday/We The Kings crew and my new buddies from the Cab, Carolina Liar and Ms. Jessie James, but before the party started we made sure to catch the Fireworks show!
Ryan, Jeremy, Cameron, Elliot and I were all watching the fireworks together and I took this just using the available light from one of the explosions. Sorry about the bit of grain… had to crank that iso!

What is all this random bullshit? Well, here’s the scoop… I wanted the album art work to represent the two parts of Jeremy’s life; living in Florida (to the left) and now living in New York (to the right). Florida represents being a kid, having fun, etc. New York represents growing up, starting a career, settling down, etc. There are some random objects in there, that have special meaning to Jeremy, that I will leave unexplained… but they do make sense. I don’t usually explain the work I do, but a lot of people didn’t understand it. Figured it wouldn’t hurt to clear things up. I wanted everything to be real sketchy and cut out looking; with Jeremy being the only thing that isn’t completely hand drawn. What do you think?

I wanted to test out my new lights tonight when I got to West Palm so I did a little shoot with my good friends. This is Me with Ryan, Jeremy, and Mitch. I love these boys so much, and we always have great times together! This weekend is proving so far to be loaded with excitement.
